Which book genre do you avoid at all costs and why?
Political books. I totally hate them. Too much agendas and dramas, not to forget about spin doctors.
I wish I could enjoy that good mystery!! Now an excellent political drama has all sorts of potential! Funny how everyone is built so differently.. Thank Goodness

I've enjoyed a political read a time or too but they are usually mystery and suspense as well. I stay away from the annoying autobiographies of self aggrandizing politicians.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by.
That would have been my answer a year ago, but then I read Feed by Mira Grant and The Queen's Thief series by M.W. Turner and changed my mind.

OH man. I sometimes don't even read them because I'm not in the mood to read them, plus they get complicated. New follower too. Thanks for visiting me as well.
ReplyDeleteIt's the same with me; too much drama just destroys a book!!

ReplyDeleteI haven't ever read a political book either (I don't think) though depending on what the book is about I might pick it up and try.

Hm....I actually like political intrigue in historical fiction and fantasy. And since I'm actually kind of interested in politics, I don't mind reading political non-fiction but its rare. But I normally go for the action-packed books :D
ReplyDeleteThanks for following, I'm following back :)
Hahaha can't say I read a lot of political books but I do enjoy reading about politics in the news!
