It’s not me to actually pass the opportunity to join a Read-a-thon, but here I go again… the annual Dewey’s 24 Hour Read-a-thon is right at the corner and it’s on 9th April 2011! As for late there are around 340 bloggers who are joining the read-a-thon and all bloggers are welcome enough to join the event.
What exactly it is? a 24 hours of reading craziness. I admit I haven’t really stayed up a full 24 hrs for this event ever, but it is a good excuse (I ♥ having an excuse to Drop Everything And Read once a while.) but yes I love joining up this event when it comes around. Maybe this time I would read more than I did last year?
My friends, fellow bloggers and others, including me, usually use this opportunity to donate to a charity foundation or wherever else you like to donate. Either way it’s a wonderful event and I hope I can actually sit down and play with this =^_^=
Since I live in Brunei: The start time would be at 9pm

Oh my gosh, 9PM is your start time? Are you going to make it? LOL, I'd have to take a long nap during the day, but then I think it would throw me off.
ReplyDeleteHave fun at the read-a-thon, Lisa. Isn't it great home many people join in? Such a big event!
ReplyDeleteI'm in the Netherlands, and start at 2pm. That's ok, although early in the morning would be best. I hope you don't get sleepy too soon. I expect to sleep for about 6 hours or so during the read-a-thon. Can't stay awake all 24 hours!
Hello Lisa. Thank you for dropping by GB. I am happy to note that I now have someone I can keep awake with (well, at least as much as I can manage) - you're in Brunei? That's great. Do you have the same timezone as SG/PH? If you are, I received word from the organizers in Dewey that our star time is at 8pm. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteCheering you on from Michigan! I hope you are having a blast!
ReplyDeleteHere to cheer from Virginia!
ReplyDeleteRead that book,
Flip that page,
24 Hour Readathon
Is all the rage!
Cheering you on and hoping you've really gotten some reading done! Hope to see you next read-a-thon. Happy Reading until then!
