[TV Series] Doctor Who Season 5: The new Doctor! He's still a madman with a box!

This review kinda come later than it supposed to be, but I was waiting for the right moment and the new Doctor kinda need to sinks in well before I actually have the feel and know him enough to actually criticize. So.. what can I say of the Doctor after waiting for him since the last appearance of David Tenant? I must admit I miss David :(

Matt Smith is the new doctor and his first lines were, "Can I have an apple?" That actually dropped my jaw *laughs* He was an interesting one. He will never replace David Tenant big shoes (extremely big), but Matt Smith has proven to be a different sort of Doctor. A completely new Doctor. No more mopping around Rose alright. Thank god! That part was getting too old, regardless how depressing it was becoming. I have to say, I have to take what I said about him back. He is NOT Twilight Vampire sort of Doctor Who, and I am glad he is, cause that would annoy most of the fans entirely. *ducks for the rabid Edward fans*

Doctor Who productions has revamped everything in this season. There's a new theme song, this one kinda sound darker and more *runny* so I'm expecting big dangerous wicked episodes this season. More than last time. New police box, this one is sweet. New sonic screwdriver.

New TARDIS interior

What I think of the new companion, Amy Pond? She annoys the hell out of me. Seriously! Her curiosity is so unbecoming, I'm actually predicting all of her harsh actions in this series would be a huge liability to the Doctor. She be the death of him or as I'm hoping, she will grow up later in the series. I surely hope for the later.

As for the the special effects and the whole thing. I still say, good writers, and great cgi really brign the awesomeness in this series. I'm sorry to say, this Sci-Fi really kinda top any Hollywood stuff. Don't get me wrong, I love Star Trek and Stargate Series, but they will never top the simple but memorable show like this one. I am really drawn into this series, and I have been watching this show on repeat! Love it THAT much.

Note: I do hope Torchwood will come back soon. I hope there will be more Doctor Who and Torchwood crossovers *cross-fingers*
